1. Top Player Palmer Ready for Crucial Capital Derby with The Gunners

The Blues manager Enzo Maresca stated on Friday that Cole Palmer is set to return for the team's significant Premier League match against London rivals Arsenal.

The young English midfielder was out of action due to a broken toe sustained after an unfortunate occurrence.

“He is fit to begin and feature,” Maresca declared. “The whole team is delighted.”

In the current campaign, Palmer has made only four appearances in every contest, scoring twice.

The Merseyside club have failed in their protest against Idrissa Gueye's sending off for an on-field altercation with teammate Michael Keane during the team's single-goal triumph at Manchester United.

The veteran Senegal player was dismissed only 13 minutes into the contest after striking Keane during a disagreement over a misplaced pass.

The player quickly said sorry, and the pair appeared making up afterwards in a light-hearted online video.

However, the appeal against the red card was denied, and Gueye must complete a three-game suspension, leaving Everton depleted for their next fixture against Newcastle United.

“We have appealed it and our appeal was turned down,” manager David Moyes stated. “We received no rationale for the denial but we did appeal it.”

Inquired about more issues from the incident, Moyes added: “It was over immediately, it was done, that was it, we moved on quite quickly and it was all sorted within the dressing room.”

Newcastle United's new signing Yoane Wissa has trained with his new teammates for the initial occasion since suffering a knee problem shortly after his move from Brentford in the autumn.

West Ham United head coach Nuno Espírito Santo has stated that the reigning champions' dip in performance “is largely irrelevant” as his team gets ready to face the ailing top-flight title holders.

However, Ola Aina (thigh injury), the midfielder (thigh), Dilane Bakwa (hamstring), Chris Wood (knee), and the defender (hip) are likely to be unavailable.
