Dan Burn A constant threat on corners and free-kicks, as always, but may be another option to Stones at the back as opposed to alongside him. A loose ball later in the match came close to an opener from the visitors. Six

The young full-back A further confident showing by the youngster following his first cap against another side. A teammate was unable to take full advantage of a gorgeous backheel over the opposing backline. The role looks secure at this stage. 7/10

Adam Wharton A debut start in an England shirt. Slightly careless on the ball but his whipped deliveries posed a danger. A useful tempo-setter available to the coach to call upon versus sides that sit back. Booked for a poorly timed challenge. 6

The midfielder Crosses from corners and free kicks caused problems. Was given room to move on the left only to be in an offside position as the pass came in front of goal. Given a deserved break on the hour mark. 6/10

Jude Bellingham Functioned in an advanced position out wide and also did plenty of dirty work. Showed flashes of quality but dragged an effort over. Withdrawn towards the end by a teammate, his competition, after receiving a caution. 7

The winger Had the team's best chance in the opening period, his shot excellently kept out by Thomas Strakosha. As Quansah staying deep, it fell to him to provide width out wide although his balls from the touchline were inconsistent. Taken off for the final quarter-hour. Six

The captain The match-winner with his 77th and 78th goals at international level. The opener a trademark close-range tap-in while the second a classy finish with his head having drifted away from his marker. Now 32, he’s only getting better and the side are strong contenders in future competitions when he's in the team. 8/10

The attacker Had difficulty to make an impact from the left. Was presented with a presentable chance following a pass by the midfielder but Strakosha denied him. His replacement made much more of influence in his place. Five
